Raspberry And Chocolate Mousse ( Videos )

  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 2 cups whipped cream or whipped topping
  • Raspberry Mousse
    3 oz raspberry gelatin powder
    2 cups half and half milk divided
    1/4 cup sugar
    Chocolate Mousse
  • 6 oz semisweet baking chocolate chopped
  • 3 oz unflavored gelatin powder
  • fresh berries for serving optional

  1. Raspberry Mousse
  2. Add 1 cup of boiling water and gelatin to a medium bowl. Stir slowly for one minute until dissolved, and then stir in 1/2 cup cold water. Set aside to cool.
  3. In another medium bowl, whip cream until stiff. Once the gelatin mixture is lukewarm, stir in the whipped cream until blended.
  4. Use a standard muffin tin to set 6 stemless wine glasses or similar on the diagonal. Use mini paper baking cups or similar to prop up the glasses.
  5. Pour raspberry mixture in to about 1/4 inch below the rim of the glass. Keeping the glasses in position, carefully lift the tray and place into the fridge. Chill one hour.
